When to start ABA services?
Early intervention is key. If your child shows signs of autism or another developmental disorder, it’s beneficial to start ABA therapy as soon as possible. ABA programs are highly individualized and can be tailored to meet your child’s unique needs. The intensity of the program, ranging from 5 to 30+ hours per week, will de- pend on the severity of the challenges. ABA sessions can be conducted at home, in community settings, or at school. Behavior technicians work closely with children, teaching essential skills and reinforcing positive behaviors.
